Traditions and festivals

Marbella hosts many interesting traditions and fairs. Many of them have a strong religious origin but with an intense Andalusian flavour, full of joy and colour.

Many of these celebrations take place all throughout the year particularly in summer, when the city welcomes a large number of foreign visitors. People walks along the nicely decorated narrow streets, dressed in their elegant striking flamenco dresses enjoying singing, dancing and having "tapas"
